Thai-style Fried Rice : How to make it

Thai-style fried rice is a popular dish in Thailand that is made with jasmine rice, vegetables, and seasonings. The dish is typically prepared by stir-frying cooked rice with a variety of vegetables such as peas, carrots, bell peppers, and green onions. The rice is then seasoned with a mixture of fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, which gives it a sweet, salty, and slightly tangy flavor.

Thai-style Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked jasmine rice
  • 1/2 cup of peas
  • 1/2 cup of sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup of sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup of sliced green onions
  • 2 tbsp Naturaa groundnut oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp of fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce

Preparation

  • Step 1

    Heat the groundnut oil in a wok or skillet over high heat.
  • Step 2

    Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Step 3

    Add the vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 4

    Add the rice and stir-fry for another minute.
  • Step 5

    Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and stir-fry for another minute.
  • Step 6

    Serve hot.
